What is the definition of the word "excellent." It is defined as "extremely good; outstanding, used to indicate approval or pleasure." Do you desire to live good? Do desire to have a life that you take pleasure in? It is my life purpose to help you discover the whole and resilient life intended for you. I will  intimately work with to reinvent your life to birth purpose and fulfillment. Coupled with my faith, certification and educational background I am equipped to give you the support and solutions to a whole and well life.

Live Excellent Counseling & Mentoring Services was founded on the belief that healing is possible, relationships can be restored, and individuals can live with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Under the leadership of Pastor Yolanda Kelty-Douthit, M.Div., a Certified Couples, Marriage & Life Counselor and Prepare & Enrich Facilitator, this practice offers faith integrated counseling that honors both spiritual depth and practical strategy. With a Bachelor of Science in Religion and a Master of Divinity, Pastor Yolanda brings theological insight, structured guidance, and relational wisdom into every session, and she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Public Theology and Community Engagement to deepen her work at the intersection of faith, emotional wellness, and community transformation.

For years, she has walked alongside couples facing communication breakdown, trust issues, blended family challenges, and life transitions. She has guided engaged couples through intentional premarital preparation, helped marriages rediscover stability and partnership, and supported individuals navigating personal growth, identity development, grief, and recovery. Her work is not built on surface encouragement alone, but on structured frameworks, proven assessment tools, and compassionate accountability that produce measurable progress.

Live Excellent creates a confidential and respectful space where conversations are honest, growth is intentional, and transformation is attainable. Sessions are rooted in Biblical wisdom while incorporating practical relational tools that equip clients with skills they can apply beyond the counseling room. The goal is not dependency, but empowerment. Clients leave with clarity, strengthened communication, renewed perspective, and actionable strategies to build healthy, lasting relationships.
